Sarah Palin is holding a fundraiser on Mountain Home Road on Sept. 25. I wonder if she is planning to do a little hunting while she is out there.

If Sarah was expected it was probably a PUMA.

Sarah Palin is a disaster! She is a crusader for creationism to be taught in public schools as scientific theory. She opposes stem-cell research and (of course) gay rights, including civil unions. And like the many ardent students of "professor" Rush Limbaugh, she doesn't think that humans have any effect on the current scientifically proven climate changes going on throughout the planet, and that we have no responsibility to try to rectify the situation by either less reliance on oil or by "going green." Try telling that to your children or grandchildren 50 years from now. Or maybe even 20!

Unfortunately, a good number of US voters have no curiosity about whom they're supporting.

Call Tom Siebel if you'd like to attend the fund raiser at his house (corner of Mountain Home Road & Portola Road). Cheap seats are $1000 per person. $2500 gets you a "McCain 2008" lapel pin. The event is at noon on Sept. 25.

And, of course even the progressiviest here know that Bush liberated far more Muslims and brought aid to far more Muslims than any other world leader, and that the Iraqi who died during the liberation would have lived had Saddam complied with the UN cease fire conditions. Interesting the number of rape room supporters here.

Back to the reality of the mountain lion. Douglas May still has not been found(left car on Skyline turnout 4miles N of 84). Two weeks following his disappearance I saw a huge mountain lion cross Skyline (2 miles south of 92) 5:00am. I called sheriff's office and reported it. After seeing that mountain lion I know what happened to Douglas May. Is there any realistic deturent? Looking big will not cut it.
