The Palo Alto Babe Ruth 14-year-old all-star team's run in the Babe Ruth World Series finally came to a close following a wild 17-10 loss to Youngstown, Ohio, champion of the Ohio Valley region on Thursday in Quincy, Mass. The loss eliminates Palo Alto from the World Series, concluding its season among the top six teams in the nation.
