USA women's soccer dreams dented in Olympics

A nightmarish opening sequence put a dent in the United States' Olympic women's soccer dreams of competing for a gold medal as the Americans were stunned by a familiar nemesis, dropping their Olympic opener to Norway, 2-0, on a hot and steamy Wednesday night at the Qinhuangdao Sports Center Stadium.

Life comes at you fast......

I think anybody who knows anything about the game has no doubts that brianna scurry would not have made the stupid mistake Hope Solo just did today.

I hope she had learned a lesson today.

soccer is a sport with 11 players to a side. A goal can only be scored after beating 10 other players in addition to the keeper. So lets be reasonable-- while the keeper is the last defense, she ain't the only one
