Very interesting comment Jay, "What he didn't know is that park rangers, knowing lions are fiercely territorial, have trained a team of "watch lions" to remind non-residents that they don't belong in the park with a friendly bump on the shoulder blades — a sure way to put some teeth into the residents-only rule."

I posted a comment on a previous report on this story earlier saying that the lion had been hired by Palo Alto to keep non-residents out of the park.

It was removed from the comments section by the editorial staff. Now it is essentially repeated, although not word for word.

I'm disappointed Jay.

Why do we need another thread on this? The other one had character, why this?

Lion hunter? Never!

Exagerating fisherman? Occasionally.

This is old news and it is tired and boring, we still have not caught the murderer on the loose around Palo Alto.

That is what we should be hunting.
