The name TALIBAN is a very poor choice for a gang name in this day and age, or are they trying to make a point.

In that case send in the National Guard with up armored huvee and fully automatic weapons, the NG knows how to deal with murdering,drug dealin thugs from experience in Aghanistan

A Prayer for Vengeance
1 O LORD God, to whom vengeance belongeth;
O God, to whom vengeance belongeth, show thyself.

2 Lift up thyself, thou judge of the earth:
render a reward to the proud.

3 LORD, how long shall the wicked,
how long shall the wicked triumph?

4 How long shall they utter and speak hard things?
and all the workers of iniquity boast themselves?

5 They break in pieces thy people, O LORD,
and afflict thine heritage.

6 They slay the widow and the stranger,
and murder the fatherless.

7 Yet they say, The LORD shall not see,
neither shall the God of Jacob regard it.

8 Understand, ye brutish among the people:
and ye fools, when will ye be wise?

9 He that planted the ear, shall he not hear?
He that formed the eye, shall he not see?

10 He that chastiseth the heathen, shall not he correct?
He that teacheth man knowledge, shall not he know?

11 The LORD knoweth the thoughts of man,
that they are vanity. 1 Cor. 3.20

12 Blessed is the man whom thou chastenest, O LORD,
and teachest him out of thy law;

13 that thou mayest give him rest from the days of adversity,
until the pit be digged for the wicked.

14 For the LORD will not cast off his people,
neither will he forsake his inheritance.

15 But judgment shall return unto righteousness:
and all the upright in heart shall follow it.

16 Who will rise up for me against the evildoers?
Or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?

17 Unless the LORD had been my help,
my soul had almost dwelt in silence.

18 When I said, My foot slippeth;
thy mercy, O LORD, held me up.

19 In the multitude of my thoughts within me
thy comforts delight my soul.

20 Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with thee,
which frameth mischief by a law?

21 They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous,
and condemn the innocent blood.

22 But the LORD is my defense;
and my God is the rock of my refuge.

23 And he shall bring upon them their own iniquity,
and shall cut them off in their own wickedness;
yea, the LORD our God shall cut them off.

I can understand the pain that someone's death brings; I'm sorry for those who are affected.

But @ Saint Michael, as you have written a prayer of vengeance, it is also known in the Bible in Luke 6 - "But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked. Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful."

One UNFORTUNATE quote comes to my mind reading this thread.."live by the sword, die by the sword".
Remark : "Whatever"???? Why was he going to court over a gun charge for in the first place? Sad way of life, waisted life now. No comin' back to "do good"..no comin' back to show how much he could have changed his world into a positive life for his children and family.

A song us "Dumbass'" learned awhile ago: "Where Have All The Flowers Gone?" (Chorus: "When will they ever learn??") NOT a rap song...Rap: not much happiness in it~ just references to drugs, rapes,beatings, shootings,hunger,etc.)in any rap song that I ever heard.)That's all the eardrum beating sounds coming from "da players" who happen to get in charge of a car to blast the stero with.
I know EPA used to be the worst place to drive through a few years back. I always made sure I had a full tank of gas and then I would low ride through, hopin' I would not be THE one to get shot that week. It's just about like Oakland and Richmond are today. Too many drugs on the street still~ drugs are in an all time high number. Now our American economy is suffering and people are taking to dealing for the money..and for the numbing effect of their hardships.

BUT, no matter what, I sorta like the idea of having a "Bitch Ass Cop" around to try and haul the dealers and druggies in...get real. You, your mother, your kids,(etc) could be the next potential victim. Even if it turns out it was an accident.....even if it was happening a block from where you live in your safe neighborHOOD.

May peace be with his family and friends who knew and loved him. This is a terrible tragedy to deal with. I know.
