Perfect game pitched by Kevin Tracy in Little League game

Original post made by Brian, Evergreen Park, on Apr 25, 2008

In a battle between two Palo Alto National Little League teams with 7-1 records, Alhouse-King Realty defeated Stanford Electric 5-0 on Thursday evening at the Hoover Park diamond. Kevin Tracy pitched a perfect game, and Kenta Yanagiswa hit a two-run homer in the top of the first. Several great defensive plays helped the Alhouse cause, as the potent Stanford Electric hitters were kept off the base paths all evening. Jordan Scott of Stanford Electric also pitched very well, and as result the game took just one hour to complete.

Kevin - You have now reached the pinnacle of baseball success. It is time to now take your extraordinary athletic skills and play lacrosse instead!!!!!! A much faster paced and exciting game.

Lacrosse exciting? I have watched a few games, and it puts me to sleep. Must be an acquired taste.

Baseball is not designed to be exciting, although there are very dramatic and exciting moments. That final out by Kevin sounds like it met this standard.

Congratulations, Kevin!

Congratulations to Alhouse-King and the players! My nephew, Clay, played for Alhouse during his Little League years (he is now playing at the Babe Ruth level) so these names are familiar to me.

Great to hear that Kenta is swinging so well. Omedetoo!

Way to go West Coast Kevin...its great seeing my name in the paper! Certainly, I never pitched a perfect game in LL...but neither did your Dad. Keep up the good work and maybe someday you'll pitch for the Cardinal!

Palo Alto Weekly Holiday Fund

For the last 23 years, the Palo Alto Weekly Holiday Fund has given away more than $4 million to local nonprofits serving children and families. When you make a donation, every dollar is automatically doubled, and 100% of the funds go directly to local programs. It’s a great way to ensure your charitable donations are working at home.
