Stanford baseball coach Mark Marquess would say it was longevity and having good players. The players would say it's his wisdom and good coaching. A lot of good things happened for Stanford over the weekend, not the less of which was Marquess winning his 1,300th career game in Sunday's 10-2 Pac-10 victory over top-ranked Arizona State.

congrats to coach marquess....i remember when he took over the program. followed a couple of great coaches...ray young and tom dunton. continued success and bring home that pac 10 title to the farm.
