Montgomery is taking Cal men's basketball job

When Mike Montgomery is officially announced as the new men's head basketball coach at the University of California this morning, one of the obvious questions will be why?

Always respected Montgomery's teams for their smarts and their discipline. Mike's already looking good in blue and gold! I read in the Chron that some Cal folks aren't crazy about the move - but that's crazy. (Now, as long as Adam Keefe and Todd Lichti don't show up I'll be okay...)
