Grants bring new tools to classrooms

Junior Jane Hinton sat playing a Monopoly-style board game with teacher Jennifer Dorwin on a recent afternoon at Gunn High School. But instead of rolling dice — a tricky task for students with multiple disabilities — she pushed a button that spun a numbered wheel.

I know Jennifer Dorwin and the students of Palo Alto are lucky to have such a dedicated and loving teacher! She is my hero.
