Can anyone think of a way we can trade City Councils with Mountain View for a year or so? Let's see, they have a new arts center, traffic flows through the downtown area any time of the night or day, the town is booming and you don't see stores being closed. The City Council is friendly to business. Their streets aren't roller coasters like ours, their library belongs to the county system with a common library card so that they have access to all the other libraries in the county. I could go on and on but you get the point.

What a great idea!

I agree--I would love to see a City Council like Mountain View's in Palo Alto. Our council is negligent in that it is not providing a business-friendly atmosphere. Albertson's just closed in our neighborhood and now the city is talking about having Wild Oats move into the vacancy. That's just what we need!! How many more elite markets do we need??
