Three words: Cafe Pro Bono. Yeah I know, with that name you might expect the food to be free. Especially if you're an attorney. It's not free, but it's not expensive either. CPB is on Birch Street just a block from California south toward the courthouse. Great service and it took a little while, but they now really have the gazpacho exactly right. Come in on Friday and you can have lunch with two former professional motorcycle roadracers. Oh wait, that might not be a plus.

As the new owner of the once defunk 'mint leaf' now the 'INDOCHINE' - Thai & Vietnamese restaurant, I wish to invite everyone to the OPENING of our wonderful dinning event. Everyone who like Thai, coconut milk, spicy, or just GREAT food, will find a dish they'll call their own. Please feel free to try our desserts, Thai iced tea, or Vietnamese hot or iced coffee. Put a smile on your face, a bit of happiness in your tummy, and a dollar in my pocket. I hope to see all of you in the very near future.

Open 7 days a week with Lunch Mon - Fri 11:30 to 2:30 and dinner from 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. (( Fri & Sat until 9:30 p.m. ))

Can anyone recommend a place for breakfast in the mode of the beloved Cook Book of happy memory? Should be "reasonably priced' with good parking.

Cafe Pro Bono on Birch Street is a relaxing haven to indulge in whenever you need life to slow down and get away from the time crunched world. The warmth of the kind folks who run this place is refreshing. From the minute you enter, you are treated like family greeted with a sincere smile. The food is great, reasonably priced and served nice & hot. The music consists of Italian opera, old world jazz and other tunes from an earlier era. This is one of my favorite places to go to when I want a great meal, friendly atmosphere and a quiet haven in Silicon Valley. Their double chocolate mousse is my favorite dessert. Life is good, thank you Cafe Pro Bono!
