FINALLY!!!!! I am so glad to hear that they are catching these people. The police and FBI are doing a great job solving this murder. I am so thankful that they have found these two men and that justice will be served. So many young people's lives lost so tragically over something so stupid. I hope that these arrests cause these idiot kids to start using their noodles! If you shoot someone, your going to go to jail...hopefully, especially if you brag about it.... and cops definitely have ways of traking cell phone records... duh!!! What were they thinking? Stop trying to be hard. Be yourself. THere is no need for these idiot kids to have guns. where the hell are they getting them from anyways?!!! this is appauling to me. So senseless.

Jeff was a wonderful and caring person. He was a close friend of my little brothers and my he has not taken Jeff's death well. I think that these killers should be put to death. They have no right to live. They took another persons life over some money. Jeff was so young and had his whole life in front of him. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

I can't believe that this kid actually went to Jack in the Box to eat with his lady friend. Obviously this guy has no remorse for what he did if he is able to go right next to the scene of the murder to get dinner. That makes me sick. I hope he enjoyed his curly fries because that will be his last meal at Jack in the Crack for a long, long time, if not, hopefully forever.
Now that they've caught these two "gangstas," I am confident the third suspect will be apprehended in a matter of days.

[Portion removed by Palo Alto Online staff.] Pot NEVER used to be associated with crazy types, psycho's. Guys who grew were mellow for the most part, guys who dealt were usually young, high school, post high school, it was a small time thing...money on the side. Never once in years of being involved with people who bought weed, used it, sometime even dealt it, have I ever seen any violence of any kind.
As happened in this case, what we see is that someone who was a hard core drug addict (coke, speed, what have you) got involved in something that is normally a benign situation and went insane. Jeff johnson, who may have been intrigued with the idea of dealing or brokering a little weed, or may have just been helping a friend score, wound up shot dead. This is a tragic thing, not because he got involved with the wrong people, but because there are people like this wandering around in our society, free as birds, that didn't use to be here.
The government won't do its job and keep them out, and so we have them here preying on us.

Jeff Johnson: murdered by the third world, which had as its accomplice the government of the United States.

Fact is, illegal immigrants are more law-abiding than citizens.
"There have been dozens of national studies examining immigration and crime, and they all come to the same conclusion: immigrants are more law-abiding than citizens. A 2007 study by the Immigration Policy Center (IPC) found that immigrants, whether legal or illegal, are substantially less likely to commit crimes or to be incarcerated than U.S. citizens."

Fearless,
your link doesn't have any facts, just propaganda. [Portion removed by Palo Alto Online staff.] ALL illegals are felons! automatically, thats what illegal means, it means violating immigration laws. Unlawfully entering or occupying the country.
a fact would be something like this:
"illegal immigrants are anywhere from 1 in 4 to 1 in five of the prison population".
that is an example of what is a fact: and the corresponding DATA is here: Web Link
The illegal alien crime wave is NOT a myth, or misperception, but based on real data, actual hard numbers.
"Immigrants are far less likely than the average U.S. native to commit crime in California, according to this issue of California Counts. For example, among men ages 18-40 – the age group most likely to commit crime – the U.S.-born are 10 times more likely than the foreign-born to be in jail or prison. Even among noncitizen men from Mexico ages 18-40 – a group disproportionately likely to have entered the United States illegally – the authors find very low rates of institutionalization. Such findings suggest that longstanding fears of immigration as a threat to public safety are unjustified."
