Police use Craigslist to nab suspected thief

Palo Alto police took to the Internet Saturday to respond to an ad offering what turned out to a stolen bicycle for sale and then arrested the seller.

Excellent work - Craigslist is filled with suspect deals on bikes, its nice to see the police acting on this.

Nice to hear the PAPD took someone seriously.

I wish the MVPD was the same.

My son had his much beloved P2 stolen in Mt. View last year.

This was something that we worked on for two years, only to have the MVPD tell us that "it is only a bicycle"!

Good job PAPD!
