Stanford women earn tie for Pac-10 hoop lead

Original post made on Feb 24, 2008

I wouldn't call it a great game - but intense, yes. And very well attended! I used to go to games where the attendance was in the hundreds, so 10,000+ was great to see. Some good defense on both sides, but both deserved to lose too. Stanford choked at the free throw line, giving Cal too many chances to tie or win, and then Cal choked on all of those. Congratulations to Stanford, though, and hope we get one more "shot" in the Pac-10 Tournament.
