Stanford Dance Marathon raises money for Partners in Health in 24 hour dance party

Original post made by Party@stanford.edu, Stanford, on Feb 22, 2008

On Sunday, February 17th 260 students left Stanford’s Arillaga Alumni Center with white “Hardcore” shirts in their hands. The shirts represented their determination and devotion after they danced for 24 straight hours in an effort to raise and awareness for the global fight against HIV/AIDS. These students participated in Stanford Dance Marathon 2008, an entirely student-run venture that creates, educates, inspires and mobilizes the Bay Area and Stanford communities to combat HIV/AIDS and support international health.

Congrats to the students who organized this and to those who danced all night. Nice work.
