I'm surprised the Grannies weren't out protesting these folks too. Must've been too tired yelling at recruiters. Or maybe they successfully stopped the war already with their recruiter protest. Oh yeah, that's right. They didn't. Or maybe (and this is what I'm hoping for), they've seen the light and are calling and writing their elected officials instead of protesting the military.

too bad this event did not get a fraction of the press or support from local politicians that the doped bikers tour ( aka amgen tour) got.

The funniest thing I ever saw: I was standing outside, watching all of the police activity on Wilton Ave, where the police choper was flying around on Wednesday. Cops were all over the street with their guns out, and out of nowhere comes the Wounded Warriors peleton and they turn right onto Wilton Ave where all of this crazy activity is taking place. The looks on both the cops faces and the Wounded Warriors faces were priceless.
