Mountain lion shot and killed

The mountain lion that strayed into Palo Alto residential areas Monday morning was shot and killed by a Palo Alto police officer about 1 p.m. Monday, ending a tense lion-hunt that started before dawn.

That seems to happen on this forum from time to time - are they trying to provoke new discussions, or is it just some phantom in the machine? They should waterboard that lion and find out where the den is.
