Why would we want to go with the same firm that brought us the current city manager?

So they selected the same head hunters that found us Benest and Baum? Man the barricades, take two aspirin - and pray that we don't have more of the same.

Why not: Who would you suggest Emily Harrison?

Gene: Agree with you on this one. Usually I like Mayor Klein's actions, but voting to bring back the headhunters who brought us Benest and Baum is well.... incomprehensible. Benest and Baum are the architects of the kakistocracy that Palo Alto has become. Do they really want to continue down that path? I was really hoping for some new blood who could clean house..... Guess its just going to be "business as usual" going forward with a new CM.
