City of Palo Alto Firefighters/paramedics Story! or The things the CPA would like you not to know?

Original post made by Fireman, another community, on Jan 21, 2008

I have a 20 page short version of some of the things that have happened to me while a Firefighter/Paramedic for the City of Palo Alto. I have talked about it. Given copies to the City Counsil and Frank. Sent a copy to the Gov.. How about we let the public see/hear what goes on in your city"s fire department.

I'm very interested in your report. I know of lots of "goings on" in the FD and City in general during the term of your employment, and I would like to see these things brought to light.

But the bottom line is no one is going to put their email on "Town Square", as I'm sure you wouldn't either....

Can you post your report on a freeby web host?

Here's one: Web Link

I look forward to reading it.

Yes I will try to post ... I will offer my Email..

What you will get first. Is my story.. What happened to me and what and how the City and FireFighters union dealt with it.

I then have years of information from my time in the FD.

Safety reports. Minutes of the union meetings. All kinds of information that I want to make avalible to anyone who would like to read about how things are in the FD and the City Of Palo Alto.

I would like to see the report. You keep saying how the city did you wrong. Well, here is your chance. Put up or shut up.

Not just me...I am only one in a long string... You also, Live in Palo Alto?..
You have not been given what you paid for or were promised..

The only person getting anything is FRank and the other crooks..
Think you will like the new 90 million public safety building..

Email me at I will send you a copy..

Remember Tim I have boxs of written info that shows a say one thing do something differant...

Hear is one more for you. Ruben Grijalva was Chief here before he made Cal-Fire worthless.
Ruben took a 1 year leave to go work for Cal Fire, He had been doing lots of work for them on the City's Dime/time.Way to fat on the top of the FD...
Before Ruben took this leave several others in the Department did the same. They went and worked for other Fire Departments.
Ruben did not like this. He changed the guidelines for this leave. He limited it to 6 months and refused to allow this to be taken if work for any other Fire Department or Fire organization was involved.

He then goes and takes 1 year and works for another Fire Department/organization.

Now remember this is a public,PUBLIC position he held for the City, not a private position in a company.. Now how much respect does that show your Employee's. Think your Employee's respect someone who does this?
So there are differant rules for differant Employee's... Now what did the Union do.....NOTHING..Just rolled over and begged like a dog.
We should change the Name to the International Association of K9 firefighters.. For are union president lets them treat the members{WILLY-Nilly} which means like dogs..

You can ask one of the counsil members to see this report. Ask Frank he has a copy. Ask Mr No Comment/spineless..

Don't miss out on the discussion!

Palo Alto Weekly Holiday Fund

For the last 23 years, the Palo Alto Weekly Holiday Fund has given away more than $4 million to local nonprofits serving children and families. When you make a donation, every dollar is automatically doubled, and 100% of the funds go directly to local programs. It’s a great way to ensure your charitable donations are working at home.
