Sally Kiester, Stanford scholar and community leader, dies at 70

Sally Valente Kiester, 70, a writer, educator and leader of nonprofit organizations, died Dec. 19 of complications from leukemia.

I am saddened to read of Sally Kiester's passing. She was a tireless advocate, with keen sensitivities and a wry sense of humor that enabled her to accomplish much good in the community. She has left her mark on Palo Alto, and will be greatly missed.

At present I´m residing in Skarpnäcks Alle 32 3rd Floor, 128 33 Skarpnäck, SWEDEN. I just learned that Sally died when I went for a vacation in Cebu, Philippines. I´m so sorry for your loss and mine too. I am the daughter of Calixto Valente (deceased) and Sally knew me. I am very pleased if any of her members in the family can contact me.
