I hope this works, I do not envy them. With all the beggars and vagrants that use that area as their garbage dump and latrine it is going to be a challenge to keep it sanitary.

Maybe they can hire private security guards to do the job that the PAPD will not.

Maybe they can ask the Mountain View & Menlo Park PD's to chip in every once in a while. You know, just to keep an eye on the place and make sure everything's okay.

The place is absolutely disgusting. Good luck to Bell Fellman. I hope you are retiring soon.

Wondering how the high speed bullet trains to LA will affect business, particularly when the work is being done along the track. It could be a long ten years.

If they don't deal with the vagrants and other unsanitary conditions, why do they think this project will succeed where others have failed?

Ah, yes. Far better the vagrants relieve themselves in the bushes than spoil the pristine beauty of a toilet. Toilets public and private get dirty. They need swamping out. That's life. Get used to it. People are metabolizing machines.

Me, "Why do they think this project will succeed where others have failed". Because they get the location "rent free" if they keep the toilets clean - that is a big "if".

This is not possible, as Palo Alto has an ordinance against public urination.

This is not about climate change, so our city council does not care about dealing with it, just like they do not care about dealing with the homeless problem in PA in general.

No, this article is not about climate change, and it is not about homelessness, either. It is about the TRAIN STATION, and how we can encourage the use of public transit by making it more convenient and comfortable. If you want to talk about homeless people, there is another discussion going on elsewhere.

Must have been some good weed, resident. In the meantime, I will keep my conceptions and preconceptions. Happy trails...through the cosmos.

What would happen if there was a broom and a mop in every public restroom? Would some folk beside myself take a hint?
