Drug dealer sentenced for shooting ex-client

An East Palo Alto drug dealer sentenced in San Mateo County Superior Court today could spend up to life in prison for the 2006 attempted murder of a man who had stopped purchasing drugs from him.

I know of Michael Booker. When he's not on drugs he's generally a nice person. Locking someone up for a drug habit is not always the answer. The person has to have the want to change. And then put the action behind the words. Saying and doing is two different things. You can deal and use drugs in jail!
