Man found guilty in Menlo Park kidnap plot

A San Mateo County Superior Court jury found a Fresno man guilty today of masterminding a plot to have a former female employee of his Menlo Park store kidnapped and murdered for resisting his romantic advances.

I do have to wonder how much more attention this case would've received if the victim had been white and/or middle-class.

It's wonderfully amazing that she made it out alive. The perp is evil, but stupid, as was his "henchman."

The Menlo cops were horrified by these happenings. Now, hopefully the victim can focus on moving forward w/her life, as safely as possible.
