Is tonight's Little League game at Middlefield?
Sports, posted by Sports Fan, a resident of the University South neighborhood, on Jul 24, 2006 at 9:56 am

From the Palo Alto Online story, it sounds like Saturday's game was really something. It says the PA team plays again tonight, but it's not clear whether the game is at the Middlefield stadium or somewhere else. Can anyone confirm the location?

The game is at the Middlefield Ballpark. I think the starting time is 7:30pm, as the story said, but the time shown on the original bracket was 7pm. Come out and watch some great baseball!

Which team won the consolation bracket yesterday, Danville or Tracy National? Will someone post tonight's results?

Here's the District 52 website tournament bracket. As of now it doesn't show the results of yesterday's consolation game, though.

PA National won 10 - 8 last night! This means they have won eleven games in a row and the Section championship! Even though Palo Alto National was outhit 11-7 by an offensively talented Danville team, timely hits, stellar defense, and clutch pitching by Graham Marchant secured the win. Congratulations to the boys in blue and to manager Dave Goldman and coach Greg Avis. Thanks to Mike Piha and Dan Marchant for running two great tournaments, and to the community who turned out to cheer!

Next step....First game of the Division 2 (Northern California) tournament at Corte Madera is Friday at 5:30.
