M-A regains the edge in water polo rivalry

It was billed as a showdown between the last two undefeated girls' water polo teams in the PAL Bay Division — Castilleja against Menlo-Atherton. Actually, it was more than that.

This is really good sports writing - clear, concise and quickly to the point, informative background stats. The four-line paragraph under Cross Country is a perfect, representative example of these adjectives.

The lead article on water polo is excellent, getting in so many names of individuals who made a difference in the outcome. Note the concinnity throughout. From the interesting opening paragraphs, it wound up nicely with Menlo's current status.
