NATIVE PLANT SALE ... The California Native Plant Society (Santa Clara Valley Chapter) will offer its fall native plant sale on Saturday, Oct. 13, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Hidden Villa Ranch, CNPS Nursery, 26870 Moody Road, Los Altos Hills. The sale includes hard-to-find native plants, seeds and bulbs, as well as advice from experts, books, posters and note cards. I called & Holidays on a High Note just sold out, but the Jazzy Preview Party on Sunday night still is accepting reservations. Apparently the preview party has the same floral & table displays that will be at "Holidays on a High Note," so I'm going to that instead. If last year is any indication, the displays are INCREDIBLE! I can't wait.
