Goodbye Harry Potter Books, posted by nat, a resident of the Midtown neighborhood, on Oct 9, 2007 at 1:54 pm
I have reread all of the Harry Potter books and have just finished rereading "The Deathly Hallows". On my second reading of book 7 I have changed my opinion of it. At first, I didn't like it much. Now, I think that this book is BRILLIANT!! Maybe the best of all. Yes, there were slow parts, but they meant more to me upon second reading. Perhaps this book was more understandable and meaningful to me after rereading all the ones before.
I will have withdrawal pains and have to forget Harry Potter and immerse myself in other books. I'm feeling sad, but will get over it.

Check out Henry Neff's Tapestry Series, beginning with The Hound of Rowan, which just came out on September 25. It's not as outright brilliant as the first Harry Potter but it's pretty engaging.

Henry Neff is the author, and the title is The Hound of Rowan. It was just released on September 25. You can find it on Amazon. It's a really fun book and I'm already looking forward to the sequel.
