Palo Alto football stopped again, 42-7
Around Town, posted by Editor, Palo Alto Online, on Oct 2, 2007 at 10:43 am

A lot has changed for the Palo Alto football team in just one year, which was evident on the field Friday night in the Vikings' 42-7 loss to visiting Los Gatos.

Brook Seaman is a Wide Reciever not a "Tight End"

"Last season, Palo Alto pasted a 35-7 loss on Los Gatos." Pasted a loss on them? How bout just won?

"...final tally in a SCVAL De Anza Division opener for both teams." Spell out SCVAL the first time you mention it.

"Nick Kalpin rumbled his way into the Paly end zone..." It's endzone, not end zone.

"After allowing Oak Grove to rush for 191 yards a week ago in a 27-7 loss, Paly has begun a trend of allowing teams to run over and around them." Ouch, that's harsh. Two games is a trend?

Be consistent. First you say "the Vikings' " then you say "Los Gatos's"

"...beginning what would be a strong defensive effort from the Paly defensive backs. The Wildcats had nothing to worry about, however, as Kaplin picked up 1st downs at will." How is a strong defense one that gives up first downs left and right?

Come on guys. This is a pretty sloppy story.

hey give him a break this is a recap that needs to be written on the night of the game. Of course there will be some small inconsistencies

Brooke Seaman lined up as a wide receiver when he caught the pass.

Two games is the BEGINNING of a trend.

A strong defense effort from the defensive backs; defensive backs play mostly against the pass. They shut down the Los Gatos air attack. Kaplan is the running back. They (DBs) had a small part in stopping the run.

Sorry about the rest. I should have caught those mistakes.

Sorry, listed as a tight end, caught TD as wide receiver.
