This is such wonderful news. It's tragic that after the Korean War, we have so many people still unaccounted for in North Korea.

My grandfather is also from North Korea. He was separated from his oldest son, my uncle, during an American air raid in Korea. He died 3 years ago without ever knowing if his son survived the war.

There are tens of thousands of Korean Americans who still have family in North Korea. Unlike my grandfather, some of them still have time. Thank you Congresswoman Eshoo!

I'm also glad the Korean community is starting to talk about refugee issues from American wars. This is a constituency we need desperately right now; I can only imagine the magnitude of the refugee crisis in Iraq and I hope the Korean community will raise the tough questions about America's responsibility for refugees created by American wars.

Refugee issues from AMERICAN wars? If the Korean war was an American war then I sure wasted 1950-51 under the impression we were assisting Korea against an invasion. My division, the Second Infantry, is still there, but after reading such ingratitude from this generation of Koeans I would have them out by Friday.

Amen, Walter. I am fed up with the brainwashed who blame America for defending them from conquest. W/O America, ALL of Korea would look like North Korea.

I read of Germans spitting on our soldiers in Germany. The *(& with them. Have fun without us. Without America, they would have all lived like East Germans for the 50 years after WW2.

I will vote for anyone who says we will leave South Korea and most of "old Europe" on their own. No more people/money for ungrateful countries who think we are "occupying", or that we're there under "American" wars, or for anything other than in the interest of defending against horrors.

I am done. Let them pay for their own defense and fight their own wars. I am tired. The next generations need to learn their own lessons, sadly.
