Our brave sisters in the military continue to suffer sexual harassment with virtually no protection from their predators and their superiors. Army Specialist Suzanne Swift remains confined to her base after she went AWOL when the military refused to respond to her charges of sexual harassment and abuse. Suzanne returned to home in Eugene to escape her tormentors. Sadly, Suzanne succumbed to the blandishments of a smooth-tongued recruiter who offered her an enticing career in the military. She sent to Iraq after her training and then was forced to endure months of abuse. She decided to go AWOL after returning home on leave.
