Opportunity Center to showcase services at Tuesday event

The Opportunity Center will hold an event today, Aug. 20, to showcase its model for combating homelessness during a time when Palo Alto is struggling with questions over how to deal with its homeless population. Supervisor Joe Simitian will speak.

Isn't this the place where that elderly lady was beaten and kicked in the head? And then turned away by Stanford E/R?

Anyone know how she is doing, and if she ever came out of her coma?
