WARNING: Ivy Tutor Center on California Ave.

Original post made by Palo Alto Parent, Barron Park, on Jul 23, 2013

Warning to PAUSD parents about Ivy Tutoring. As of today, it looks like this operation has a suspended account; their website reads, "This Account Has Been Suspended". This is a makeshift operation out of a pottery store, basically, an empty room filled with a couple of cubicles. Their business model is to constantly SPAM everyone listed in the Palo Alto School District Directory, a digital directory they obtained unethically. There is no other business information available about this place, such as Tax ID #, association, etc. No one knows who is the owner is of this so-called tutoring service. I have no idea if the tutors are verified. Be careful.
