Capitol Hill Police "football tackled" activist who was in line to enter hearing room for General Petreus’ testimony Issues Beyond Palo Alto, posted by Dr. Ferragaom, a resident of Stanford, on Sep 11, 2007 at 2:40 pm
Rev. Lennox Yearwood now has a broken leg, he’s in a cast, and he’s being arraigned for assaulting an officer and disorderly conduct.

It is called not having an INVITATION and trying to gate crash..waiting in line has nothing to do with it.And honest to Pete, does anyone here honestly believe that not listening to the police who are asking you to vacate is NOT a threat to our elected officials?
And, the last time I watched football, it didn't look anything like these guys who tried to bring the Rev outside, and who then RESISTED.
sorry, no go. Thanks for the videotape. I nice example of an attempt at a set-up, a twisting of facts, and a great example of different perspectives from eyewitness reports.

Rev. Yearwood: “The officers decided I was not going to get in General Petreaus’ hearing when they saw my button, which says ‘I LOVE THE PEOPLE OF IRAQ.’”

If he had cooperated, he would not have gotten injured. Funny that the camera was there rolling before anything happened. Did he really break his leg or just claim it for the camera? UPI did not report a broken leg, they reported an ankle injury. Its not uncommon to have protesters at these events, try to "set up" the DC cops.
