I'm so proud of the Paly track and basketball team and their "recovery" towards having a successful season. Personally, I'm tired of reading about my son EJ, whom I am well aware shocked the community by his departure from Paly. EJ made a conscious decision that had more to do with the inner character he possess as opposed to the desire to be a "star" at Paly. I'm not sure if I would have had the courage to make the same decision when I was his age and for that I'm in awe of his maturity in making this decision. I'm requesting that during the final championship portion of this track season, that the you will allow Coach Fung and the rest of the team to focus on their quest towards state. Mentioning him in every article I read is annoying and frankly rude towards him and his former teammates who happen to be some of his closest friends.
Best of Luck Paly track team, I'm rootin' for you!!
