President Obama's visit draws small crowd to Atherton

About 50 people gathered in the vicinity of Valparaiso Avenue and Alameda de las Pulgas in Atherton this morning to watch the presidential motorcade.

Funny to see names not normally posting on this site, going out of their way to post things like that. usually, a first time poster takes time to make a point, and rationally explains, imo.

Is it the slight, one-time inconvenience in traffic, or just not liking the man, that draws enough ire for first time posts?

No one complains when Stanford has a game and traffic is terrible.. Go Stanford! instead of complaining, do something constructive and help!

Lupe1 is absolutely right. There have been far less problems than are caused by a football game.

In fact, the Presidential visit hasn't caused any traffic problems at all. Nada. Yup, there were helicopters for 5 minutes -- was that really a major noise deal? Also some folks lined the Alameda to wave to the President + there was a mini-demonstration about the pipeline project. Absolutely no major deal at all.

Stop whining and looking for any excuse to make silly comments.

"Obama Must Go" Y'all should have done something about it when you had the chance.

Surely you nominated an Obama-killer candidate, right? One who never flipflopped, one who never spoke ill of 47% of Americans in private?

Oh, no, you voted for Mr 47%, who karmically only got 47% of the vote?

awwww..... that's gotta hurt.

Losing by 5 million votes., in a 332-206 landslide.

Too bad. I feel for ya...
