Clutter fuels two-alarm house fire in Mountain View

One person suffered minor injuries in a two-alarm fire in northeastern Mountain View Monday morning, fire officials said. Mountain View and Palo Alto firefighters were busy removing smoldering debris from the home at around 11 a.m.

Hoarding has a mental illness component. We helped an elderly member of our church to try to clean out her hoard, and it almost destroyed decades-long relationships, aside from making several people ill. It's hard to help people, it's not just about spring cleaning. If only it were.
