Mr Arrillaga is as much a philanthropist as I am a stamp collector. By definition of the word, he is not a philanthropist. A philanthropist does not throw qualified people out of their jobs as he did at Stanford Equestrian Center, just because they did not graduate from Stanford! A philanthropist does not evict non-Stanford grads from boarding horses there, just because they did not go to Stanford. A philanthropist does not take control of a business he knows nothing about, and then run it into the ground, as he did with the Stanford Equestrian Center. He is a control freak, which is something a philanthropist is not.
