I would pay extra for a home adjacent to a cross-town bike path. Don't let the NIMBYs kill this project.

Sounds like a NIMbY list disguised as "quality of life" .

Now they are worried about creek trains near homes-- well too bad. Also MV should ignore any issue PA has with what they do with property in their city.

Problem with these neighborhood associations is that do not want ANYTHING to interfere with their perfect lives-- to hell with people in other neighborhoods. And of course there is the usual whining about traffic! What would palo alto be without whining about traffic

Seems every time I think we have it pretty good in PA, I get a chance to go to Europe or Japan or Israel. All of those places are in really dire straits, and yet they are cleaner and better maintained than PA. The streets are smooth and well-paved, buildings are clean and well-kept. I come home and everything looks, run-down, dirty, decrepit, and in some stage of decay.

I would be embarrassed to have anyone from overseas see how Americans really live,, on the whole.
