Rose Bowl leaves a lasting impression on past QBs

For only the fourth time since 1970, the Stanford football team is Rose Bowl-bound. Jim Plunkett and Todd Husak quarterbacked their respective teams in Pasadena --Plunkett in 1971 and Husak in 2000 -- and have unique perspectives on the game, the atmosphere and the similarities between their clubs and the current Cardinal squad.

Jim has a poor memory for details. He neglected to mention any of the black members of both Rose Bowl bound Stanford teams. What about Benny Barnes who went on to play for the Cowboys? Jimbo, you failed to mention Jackie Brown, Hillary Shockley, Arthur Smiley, Efton Hall, Demea Washigton, and Reg Sanderson. Sanderson was recently mention during the UCLA v Stanford game for his outstanding play in 1972 Rose Bowl game. Jim, I am ashamed at you & for you. Such oversight shows poor memory or ??????
