Just 24 hours after the 2012 Pac-12 Champion Cardinal was officially selected to play in the 99th Rose Bowl Game presented by VIZIO, Stanford sold through its allocation of more than 31,000 tickets in record time.

I can fathom reasons for calling it "the Rose Bowl Game presented by VISIO," but do you have to keep advertising the sponsorships of bowl games for the last three years?

It's great that Stanford is having such a strong showing of fans for the Rose Bowl. There's very little demand for tickets outside of the Stanford community as this is the third year in a row that Wisconsin is playing and it's normally the fans from the midwest that drive up the price. If you want to get tickets, just go to Stub Hub and there are many tickets below face value. I bought two last night in the Stanford Section on the corner of the end zone last night at face value. There are some tickets right behind the goal posts that are selling for under $100.
