Atherton Neighborhoods

The privacy gained by lots of at least one acre, winding streets with mature trees, gracious mansions set well back from the curbless streets -- this is Atherton today.

Why is this news, other than the fact that Atherton's median income could not purchase Atherton's median-priced home?

hmmmm...in Atherton there are one family per acre... maybe average of 4 people per acre.. How many people there are in Palo Alto per acre? Anyone? I think that is great news. Good to know about neighbors, especially when it comes to property values and trying to figure out how to resolve equal housing issues and why some are walking around on the streets.
