I heard Bill Clinton speak last night at Flint Center. He was very inspiring. I thought the best part was when he answered written questions from the audience. He's incredible speaking spontaneously in response to a question.
The take-away line for me (concerning not enough funds in the currently disputed budget negotiations for education and infrastructure) was: "The future doesn't have a lobby".

William Jefferson Clinton is one of the most reprehenisble, corrupt, and just down-right evil men to have ever occupied the White House. He has sent men to their deaths--and then laughed about it (as in the case of the deaths of the Marines in Somalia).
How anyone could listen to what this reprobate has to say is beyond comprehension. And if you shook his hand--you should wash that hand with the strongest soap you can find!
It's astounding that Gen. Petraeus was put through the wringer for an "affair" that doesn't come close to what this man did.

Oh, the Clinton haters are out!!
The impeached but not convicted poster would also say Ronnie Reagan was a saint, but it was Reagan that had the most corrupt administration in history. "The presidency of Ronald Reagan... resulting in the investigation, indictment, or conviction of over 138 administration officials, the largest number for any US president"
Clinton "has sent men to their deaths"... and Reagan ran away from hundreds of Marines being murdered in their barracks.
Gt over it, fringies. Clinton was a GREAT president - 23 million new jobs and a couple balanced budgets.

Darn.
I might have had the pleasure of bumping into Mr. Clinton, but for the public good I was hiding my face post-chemical peel.
Under those circumstances, had I been out and about, most likely the Secret Service would have thrown me to the sidewalk had I approached the Secretary of Explaining Stuff.

Actually, it was the lame duck Bush 41 who sent the Marines into Somalia. Clinton wisely pulled them out of what was becoming a quagmire.

All that aside, the guy went to LYFE kitchen to get a healthy, tasty lunch!! The two are not mutually exclusive, and the former president has a serious cholesterol problem. After his second quadruple by-pass, he was advised to become a vegetarian because a third quadruple by-pass was not an option...he could spare no more veins to replace coronary arteries again.
He was here for a speaking engagement at De Anza, he is a talented speaker and rhetorician, and that is his livelihood since exiting politics. If Hillary becomes president, and I hope she does, will he be the First Gentleman? Maybe not...they have lived thousands of miles apart for years.
