Interesting. When a Palo Alto boy is robbed, there's an immediate outcry, but when a boy in a lower income area is robbed & injured, mine is the first comment. Poor guy. These guys sure deserve to get caught.

I wonder if there's any chance there's a connection between this robbery & the 2 downtown the other day? I guess it would depend on the 30-something victim being accurate in her age guess of her robber and/or the same w/this poor young victim.

I don't like this at all, but there is something odd about the way it is written.

16 year old boys are teens as well as the two teens who robbed him. Some 16 year old boys are very small for their size and some 16 year old boys are over 6'. Is there any doubt as to whether the attackers were boys or girls? Weren't all of them teens and is it possible that the one attacked was known to his attackers even if he didn't recognize them? Is it possible that this crime was the continuation of a school bullying incident?

As I said, I don't like the idea of teenagers picking on teenagers, but something about the way this article is written doesn't give us the whole story.
