Crash at Middlefield and Charleston
Crimes & Incidents, posted by here we go again, a resident of the Charleston Gardens neighborhood, on Dec 3, 2012 at 6:17 pm

At about 4:20 late this afternoon a Volkswagen flipped over on Middlefield near Charleston. Apparently another vehicle smashed into it immediately after. There were four fire engines, an ambulance, three police cars and a Palo Alto FD EMT there by 4:30, causing a huge traffic jam on both streets in both directions.

Does anyone know exactly how this happened, and ifanyone was injured? There did not appear to be any occupants of either car on the scene, giving the impression that perhaps the drivers and passengers were trapped inside.
