Does anyone know how all of the creeks are faring on the east side of 101? High tide is approaching...

check the city creek website and creek/s monitor. www.cityofpaloalto.org

Click on creek monitor. All the water coming down from Foothill Park, etc. and Corte Madera Creek and others in the foothills is 'delayed' action after the storm. Takes a full hour, so it is said for the runoff to come downhill. SF Creek at 101 is right up to the top. It is now 12:55 p.m.

Thanks, Bob - appreciate the update. I use the monitor & saw the SF creek in several places on the west side but haven't ventured to the east side yet, so that's why I was asking. I hope you're staying dry!

We were unable to drive through the Oregon underpass this morning due to the flooding. As we took the detour over Alma we looked down and saw a Volvo trying to drive through.

The water was halfway up their driver's side door. I was astounded that they kept on plowing on into deeper water. Crazy.

So let me get this straight...People were moving the hazard cones that were set out so they could drive though? for what I would assume could only be convenience? So many, in fact that the police have to issue reminders not to do this? I can't believe what I'm reading. What is it about Palo Alto drivers?!?!?! The worst.
