For years when we lived on Kenneth Dr. we patronized Ditmers for its glorious bratwurst, frequently just before or after a Stanford football game. A year ago, while visiting Palo Alto, I went to see if I could bring home to southern California some excellent brats. No way. It was all burnt out. I'm happy to see it's back in business.

For decades, Dittmer's was an institution dating back to the days when many, many German people lived and worked in Mtn View, Sunnyvale, and Palo Alto. When it burned it was like the end of an era. We are so glad to be able to buy things we would otherwise have to go to Texas to get!
