Homeless shelters open as cold weather hits

As winter approaches and the weather gets colder, thousands of homeless people will now be able to seek shelter at three locations in Santa Clara County.

Be thankful that you are not the 7001 person to be out in the cold. Try passing on positive gestures this coming year to share with all the people you don't even know..brighten your horizon and goodness will follow you. Happy Holidays...

How might a homeless person find out about about this program, or get transportation to one of the shelters?

Fortunately for me these are just questions; I do not need to know the answers. I am concerned that those who do will not be aware.
