No mention of the Shot-Spotter system being involved in alerting the police to these shootings. What gives?

What're the police doing about all of these shootings??? There was a scary spate of gunfire last night, it sounded like it was from an automatic, multiple shots. The is The Taliban & the Ville duking it out. Fine, let them all kill each other, but put them on a deserted island first. I'm wondering how much egg is on the face of the police after their big Taliban raid a few years ago & now...they're baaaaack. Maybe that's why they're not being forthcoming about what's gong on, or is their silence part of some overall strategy? C'mon Chief Davis - inform the public.

Rick - I don't think that's what this recent series of shootings is about. From what I've read & heard, it's African American gang violence.

All those bullets sound the same. I'll be more discriminating and go a few years further back: Web Link

Do we need to pass around a collection plate to fund another sweep?

Yeah, if they wiped the Taliban out, why are they a problem again? I think our chief has been to concerned about his own career & not concerned enough about crime. I'm not putting ANYTHING in the collection plate - it's enough to deal w/our jerkoff neighbors & hideous landlord. I'm tired of the same old same old w/the police patter.
