What exactly has Hill done for California, other than supinely vote to give Jerry Brown carte blanche to spend a minimum of a tenth of a TRILLION dollars on HSR to pay back the unions for the the support they gave him in his battle with Whitman? He's also hard to beat when it comes to cliche and bromides. I read the above article and found not one iota of substance in anything Hill said. Lieber has substance and is a progressive who doesn't ally herself with special interests. With all the money Hill raised, it's only a matter of time until he pays these organizations back -- with his votes. "You asked for it, you got it, Toyota."

I have often had a bad feeling about this guy, so I actually hope he proves me wrong. But I think he is possibly one of those unethical "political climbers", who does not really care what the public wants, only what he thinks his superiors want. I hope he understands that at the end of the day, the public he ignores after elections are over are his real superiors.
