Congratulations to a wonderful organization and a great bunch of kids. I know that you have worked very hard to get to this point and luck had nothing to do with it but I wish you luck anyway in your upcoming games. Go KNIGHTS!

Good luck to the AY teams, Palo Alto and Oak Grove.

In the much larger and more competitive Peninsula Pop Warner Conference (35 associations) the semi-final round of the Division 1 playoffs happens this weekend, along with the Championship round for division II and III.

Winners of the Peninsula Championship and Pop Warner Pacific Northwest Region crown travel to ESPN's Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando to play in the Pop Warner Super Bowl televised over ESPN3.

Local teams in the chase include Redwood City, Menlo Park (Menlo Atherton), East Palo Alto, Santa Clara, Mountain View and many more Pop Warner clubs.

Support the great American game of football through the youth leagues!

As a former Palo Alto Knight, I know how exciting this week will be. Leave it all on the field and have fun!
